Jim Pengelly
President

Jim PengellyAs President, Jim brings a wealth of knowledge and experience in facility management, ownership and operation to the JRV Management Team. Beginning in the mid-seventies, Jim was the managing partner for "The Glens", a health, tennis and sports medical fitness complex in Buffalo, New York. During his time in Buffalo, he also served as Head Therapist for the Buffalo Stallions of the Indoor Professional Soccer League.

Jim moved to Michigan in 1980 to join the Detroit Red Wings of the National Hockey League where he spent nine seasons as their Head Athletic Therapist. During his tenure with the club, he also served as Treasurer and Vice President for the National Hockey League Trainer's Association and served as the Head Therapist for the Campbell Conference in the 1983 All Star Game.

He was a managing partner with Riverview Tennis and Fitness for five years and then served for two years as Athletic Director and General Manager for the Fairlane Club in Dearborn, Michigan, where Club Corporation of America named him Athletic Director of the Year. In 1995 Jim founded Med Sport Alliance, a comprehensive consulting, design and facility management firm for corporate industrial and hospital fitness centers.

A graduate of Ohio State University and Muskingum College with a Masters in Physical Therapy, Jim has resided in Downriver Michigan for the last twenty years.

Wendy Jankowski
Vice President of Finance

Wendy JankowskiWendy brings over 20 years of financial and accounting experience to the JRV Team and leads the Finance Department in the day to day operations of each JRV managed facility. Working directly with the facility business managers, Wendy acts as a liaison between JRV, Municipalities and the facilities for all financials.

Prior to JRV, she spent nine years with Horizon Properties in finance and an additional 6 years with Evans Distribution Systems, Inc as Controller. A graduate from Western Michigan with a Bachelors in Business Administration, she has also worked for General Motors and Ernst and Whinney in various accounting and financial roles.

Debbie Roe
Executive Assistant

Debbie RoeDebbie compliments the JRV Staff with over 10 years of experience in Administration and is a key member of the JRV Executive team. Her intangibles include handling all administrative support to the C.E.O., President and staff of the company.

Prior to joining JRV, she worked with Horizon Properties as an assistant to the President and Vice President and handled accounts payable/receivable. She has also spent time with T-Technologies in Romulus, Michigan as well as the Parts Finishing Group in numerous administrative roles.
